Jim started designing homes in 1989 and soon realized that the true fulfillment of his dreams would be to actually build the homes that he designed. In 1995, with many years of working closely
with the builders of his designs, he decided to undertake his first building project, and t he rest, as they say, is history. He, along with his wife & partner Debra, believe that a healthy design process is one that involves close collaboration between owner and designer, and have as a goal to build homes that
enhance the quality of life. Too often the focus is on square footage, rather than the finer details that give a home character.......the quality of the space is quite often more important than the quantity of it. Creating designs and building homes that are appropriate for the site and compliment the character of the neighborhood, along with embracing state-of-the-art building techniques, ensures that the home will be comfortable, functional, esthetically pleasing
